We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Office Engineer I to support construction project teams through administrative and engineering coordination. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in engineering or construction management who excel in managing project documentation, ensuring compliance, and facilitating efficient communication across project stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain detailed and organized construction project files, records, and logs in compliance with internal and client standards.

  • Review and process daily field inspector reports to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.

  • Track and manage project issues, including Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, non-conformance reports, and changes in site conditions.

  • Support project managers and field teams with technical and administrative documentation to ensure alignment with engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design requirements.

  • Coordinate the review, distribution, and approval process for submittals and RFIs, ensuring timely responses and resolution.

  • Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and progress reports.

  • Utilize software tools, including B2GNow, to manage subcontractor compliance, reporting, and documentation.

  • Interface with contractors, design consultants, and owner representatives to facilitate efficient project delivery.

  • Assist with schedule monitoring and coordination of third-party inspections and testing.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably on large-scale construction projects.

  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices.

  • Proven experience using B2GNow compliance tracking software.

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Procore, e-Builder, Bluebeam).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
