Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of systems and networks, while also providing technical support and troubleshooting to internal users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related hardware and software.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and print services.
  • Perform system upgrades and patches in a timely and controlled manner.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup procedures.
  • Respond to IT support requests and provide user training as necessary.
  • Maintain documentation of systems configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external IT policies and standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Cisco CCNA.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
  • Prior experience in enterprise IT environments.

Working Conditions:

  • May require occasional after-hours or weekend work to support upgrades or resolve critical issues.
  • On-call availability as needed.
